Lauth Quartet - S/T (Fonit Cetra)

What's going on out there everyone?! Back from another one of my infamous hiatuses. Today I bring you a very special Jazz record! This is a very rare and amazing Italian LP on the infamous "Fonit Cetra" label. It's a very solid Jazz effort from beginning to end from The Wolfgang Lauth Quartet. This record is chocked full of crisp drums, amazing arrangements, and all of our favorite instrument...Fender Rhodes Piano! I am pretty sure there are not many copies of this record floating around, which is exactly the reason you can get a chance to preview it here at Marsellus Wallace's Crate Favorites! Always bringing you the original, never posted before classic raers. Enjoy my friends, many more to come!

Dj Marsellus Wallace - Soundtrack Pro Mixtape

Yo yo what's good out there? This is a mix that I have been working on for the better part of 8 months. Yeah, I take my sweet time. I guess those that follow my blog can vouch for that also ha! But this mix was different. You see, if you didn't already know, I am a huge 70's record soundtrack collector. That and library have always been a passion of mine. So, what I wanted to do was make a mix that had that feel to it, but also in the style of many hip hop mixes that had influenced me in the past. There were many tracks/ost's that I wanted to put on here, but unfortunately the feeling was just not there while laying it down. It almost felt like I was arranging my own orchestra the more I got into it. That is why I added dialogue, action themes, and chase scenes. To give it that 1970's crime jazz feel! Hopefully my attempt to paint a picture in your head paid off, because it was a fun/difficult process. I hope this mix makes you feel happy, scared, sad, and even a little RANDY BABY YEEEEAH!!! Franco Micalizzi - I Due Volti Della Paura

Untitled-3 What's up everybody? Here's another soundtrack that took me some years to find. I haven't seen the movie but it looks pretty wicked. The soundtrack is top material from the maestro Franco Micalizzi. Purchased from Monone. He's got great records. Enjoy! http://www.mediafire.com/?yg4bvcvu60h0y2i

Peter Thomas - Golden Ring Library No. 5

Ok here we go again. This is a crazy bugged out psych/electronic/fuzz filled record by Peter Thomas. It is definitely one of the better sessions released on the Golden Ring series IMO. Just take a listen...

Ensemble Petit & Screen Land Orchestra - Action Theme

WOW!!! Now this is one that I can't find any information about. This is a Japanese record by the Ensemble Petit & Screen Land Orchestra. While I have heard of them, I had never seen this album before until someone introduced me. This is basically a harder driven twist on funky cinema themes (i.e. 3 Days of Condor, Dirty Harry, Exorcist, etc.). But, I gotta say they are the BADDEST versions (of these already great songs) that I have ever heard. http://www.mediafire.com/?twsv6ctiwralrwa

Fred Bongusto - Malizia OST

Yup! Here we are again with another top Italian gem on the Cinevox label. This is the first time I have been able to put my hands on this record. I couldn't help but to pass it along. http://www.mediafire.com/?ey8jy5lkskxx7vx

Bart Arntz - Jo Jo's Dance Factory

Once again...what's up out there? I got another stone cold gem right here straight out of Philly! This record is definitely one of my favorites in the educational/instructional genre of the early 70's. It is funky, hip, and has all the right instruments to accompany it. With the music supervision of Bart Arntz, here is Jo Jo's Dance Factory on Educator Records. http://www.mediafire.com/?8lb8y4lr022gw0t

Carolyn Sullivan - Dead!

Also copped this last night. I dunno if there's a rip available? I'm sure there is, but gotta say this is one of my favorite donut gems. If you don't have it, you need it. Pure female vocal soul. http://www.mediafire.com/?dq7ut8tzd7ftqgq

Been one hell of a minute

Well 1st off I gotta apologize for the lack of posts and updates in general. But, I think I got a decent excuse. Like I said, decent...maybe not acceptable. Well, I lost my old studio/recording room due to personal in home issues. Pretty much been out of the game for the past 4 months. Either way it's time to unleash for the new year. I have a good feeling about the new year. So far I have about 3 projects in the works, as well as a LOT of new LP's to post that I have scrounged up over the past 4 months. In a nutshell...many new updates to come! Here is basically have been working on, a new studio in a new crib. I had to build a studio / record room, because I got a roomate (Dj Inform / Colombus, Ohio) that also has a sh*t ton of records. So why have a 2 car garage, when you could just have more space for vinyl? Well, the options pretty much pointed in the right direction. With the help of myself and MANY talented men I proudly present, Salmon Studios...a cave where the Grizzly's run wild. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket To start off on a good note, here is probably one of my favorite Brazilian soundtracks. This is a super duty tough record (in the words of Case Bloom) and extremely rare to put your hands on. It is a dark, jazzy, break filled masterpiece that has many different moods. From the early works of Ze Rodrix, here is the Esquadrao Da Morte Soundtrack aka "Death Squad" on RCA Brazil. This was hipped to me originally by my man Danny Dan The Beat Mann many moons ago, but...I finally found a copy. So here ya go!!! If anyone has a RIP of the movie I would greatly appreciate it. Stay thirsty my friends...!!!
